Xiaomi Mi Light Detection Sensor stops updating

some time later it stopped working:

I do have a usb extension cable on a usb 2 port and wifi/ zigbee channels are not overlapping.
Finally there are noch such problems with deconz 2.26.3.

@de_employees can you check in?

I can see that your firmware version 26720700 is quite old (from 2021)
The newest version for ConBeeII is 26780700. And I know there where some improvements especially for Aqara devices.

So I would first update to the newest version and check again.
Here is a guide how to update the firmware: Update deCONZ manually · dresden-elektronik/deconz-rest-plugin Wiki · GitHub

I would also check the battery of the sensor.

Since no one has replied to my thread, I’ll comment here again. I have the Conbee 3 with the latest firmware and exactly the same behavior. Up to version 2.26.3 everything worked without any problems, since the update the sensors no longer receive status updates after some time. Lights continue to work. The sensors all have full batteries, they also work again for a short time after each reboot of the Raspberry, then they all stop working at the same time.
Is it possible to downgrade the deconz version?

Also noted this to manup in discord dev chat: I’m noticing way too many people with sensor issues after the recent update.

Unfortunately I can‘t test this until Wednesday.
Wasn‘t it possible to update the firmware through phoscon app in the past?

ConBee FW update in Phoscon App was removed because it isn’t possible in docker containers.

When the error still occurs with the newest firmware and only with newer deCONZ version, lets see if manup has a clue.

Install another deCONZ version is also described here: Update deCONZ manually · dresden-elektronik/deconz-rest-plugin Wiki · GitHub

[Optional] Update the deCONZ package as well.

Just change the filename of the deCONZ package on linux or download the corresponding .exe file for windows.

All install files can be found here: https://deconz.dresden-elektronik.de/

Just updated to 2.28.1 - nothing changed, problem still there.

I‘ve updated the firmware to 26780700 and deconz to 2.28.1
The sensors still stop updating after approx 6 hours so i had to roll back to deconz 2.26.3

Same for me - downgraded to 2.26.3, no problems anymore…

I have the same problem here on Conbee 2 on my HA.
How works a downgrade to 2.26.3? Which file should I use please? Thanks for your help

Hi I obtained a Mi Light sensor now and will check with the sniffer to see where/how reporting might stop, will report back here.

Just a reminder. The Aqara door window sensor is also affected.

Any news on this or do we all have to stay on version 2.26.3?

I’d appreciate an update on this issue. Thank you.

Hi all. I am so happy to have found this thread. As I have the exact same issue. After about six hours all of my xiaomi temp sensor stop sending updates. They are still connected and I see the info received by deconz dev log but no more updates on the API until I restart deconz. Only occurred after updating to latest version in August 2.28.1. Other sensor like the xiaomi motion still work. Let me know if I can support in debugging. All those sensor have newly this DDF abbreviation in UI. Not sure what it stands for.
How do I downgrade on Raspberry? I need to compile an earlier build right? Via apt-update no specific version can be pulled.

You can download the appropriate package here
https://deconz.dresden-elektronik.de/
save it on your raspi and install it using apt install

Thanks ParanoidiondnA for the link. All worked fine once I got the right package, not the one under raspbian but under debian

I have to say absolutely no issues with that device over here. And I would notice any misbehavior rather quickly since this triggers light automations in the living room.
