Sonoff Disconnect

Describe the bug

hello,

I’ve had a lot to do lately with keeping the sensors “alive”. I have to reconnect the sensors every day. I press on Phoscon on reconnect and press the button on the sensor. So deconz gets a sign of life and everything works normally.

Expected behavior

Automatic reconnect or no regular crashes

PhosconApp:

Jarvis (iobroker)

Hi, can you share some full logs? In #deconz you van find out how.

Ok, just collect some log for a few minutes. I want to reconnect all devices right away. Should I select something specific when debugging?

Yes please check in #deconz for the log flags we want. Also make sure to post on pastebin instead of here.

With this link I come only in the forum and in no Tpoic.

For your information, I switched the Ziggbee channel earlier because I wanted to try to “work around” the crashes with it.

Otherwise I lost the connection with at least 1 device every day. Some always ran stable some always lost connection.

I think the “big” disconnect comes when changing the channel.

After restarting the .exe, a few automatically came back to life

If you used the search or if you looked for the pinned topics you would’ve found this one How to get logs?

I now have a connected “porch” (Veranda). Humidity is updated but not temperature

I don’t know if you understand German, but the last update is under the name “Veranda”.
Do you speak in German?

Hi,

If this only happens with the Sonoff, it might be their firmware. I’ve read on various forums they aren’t that great and cause random disconnects.

For the Temp not updating: You should try a Re-pair.

The logs don’t show any issues so far.

Another question: How many routers (lights/220v devices) do you have against the amount of sensors?

In general we recommend 5 sensors to 1 router. I prefer to have 3.

Kind regards,

I have some sensors on a router/server. (about 10 sensors)

5 sensors is also little. A room with a window alone would have around 3 sensors. I can’t put a server in every room. So the Conbee doesn’t make much sense.

I have 2 Sonoff sensors that always cause problems. The others are very stable

A Router can be a light, a socket or anything 220V. You don’t need a Conbee in every room ofcourse

Perhaps these 2 are a bit “far” from the network and that’s why they disconnect?

Can you share a screenshot of the deCONZ with LQI on so we can see the signal quality?

Where Schlafzimmer “Bedroom” is furthest away from the router and works best for it.

The way the nodes are arranged is also how the house is built unfairly

Hi,

I think you need more routers. That’s why you can’t add more sensors (and why some drop off/ stop working).

Conbee can (in perfect environments) handle 20 sensors. In real world, around 10 - 12 is the max and afterwards you see issues like yours.

Kind regards,

I agree with Mimiix.
Not enough routing points here. I also prefer to update at 2.19.1 stable because of stability issues in 2.19.0.

Same here. I have a raspberry pi with raspbeeII and 3 sensors and a switch (very close, no more than 4 mts) and got disconnected. Then you must manually pair them again and is not usable at all.

Can you open an seperate topic and provide logs?
