Rasbee II not working after firmware upgrade

the thing with the raspbee is that its harder to do so.

I mean the USB Stick or portable hdd/ssd’s

Having the same problem.

I am using:

Raspbee II/deconz 2.12.6 stable
RPi 4B/4GB RAM
No USB devices, original power supply

Firmware-Upgrade to the latest stable Firmware produce the same messages/behavior as above mentioned by rutteger.

Downgrade to the initial Firmware provides these logs:

But no devices can be operated within the Phoscon Web App. Also the update to the latest deconz beta version doesn’t work.

Thanks for the response. I’m sorry for not making myself clear.

I carried out a firmware upgrade, obtaining the same message as mentioned above rutteger. I get exact the same behaviour as rutteger described at October 12th.

After the firmware update, that seem to fail I see the new firmware with the Phoscon Web App, but having a look into the GUI the network map is shown but no mesh is established. As a result I am not able to control anything.

I will provide the log this evening. Thanks for getting in touch.

On yesterday I tried to start from the scratch with a fresh image. Then I recognized, that a pairing is possible after a reset of devices/nodes. So I started beginning reseting the 45 devices. Till now no problems. Thanks for getting in touch.

I’m currently experiencing sort of the same problem, but I think it can’t be narrowed down to the firmware update…

I ran an apt upgrade on my RPi with Raspbian image on 15.11.21 (something I haven’t done for a long time before then). After that deCONZ was updated to version 2.12.06 and additionally all my temperature sensors (Aquara) stopped updating. At first I just noticed the missing values in my Home assistant instance and so I thought the problem must lay there. But yesterday I realised that the sensors where shown offline in PWA.

After some fumbling I decided to run a manual firmware update on the Raspbee II and had the same experience as stated above (retry, failed) but seemingly the update was applied as PWA now shows 26720700 as version number.

As a result all lights in my installation went offline (IKEA and Osram) and I was left with my switches (IKEA) and one single PIR (Aquara).

I could successfully “repair” one of the temperature sensors, but that just worked temporarely I think. I did not do an explicit pairing but removed the battery and put it back in. After that the sensor came back online. Now the sensor is shown as if it’s online but on the detail page it says “not available”:

I don’t see any suspicious things tbh. Might a firmware downgrade be helpful? Can I do that just by flashing an older version?

EDIT: I just tried to join a factory resetted light bulp to a factory resetted (via PWA) gateway and the bulp isn’t found…

deCONZ --dbg-info=2 --dbg-aps=2 --dbg-error=2

and in the GUI all checkmarks for the levels you mentioned are active.

So… yes, I guess.

As for Xiaomi Sensors I can say that they lose connection when they lose their parent. So maybe that is the case here. For other connection issues please make sure you have a 5.1V power supply if you have a RPI4 and there are no USB peripherals that can cause interferences. Unplug them for testing if necessary.

Another trick is to reboot the RaspBee2 FW with the console command sudo GCFFlasher_internal -r if you have access to the RPI console.
