Unable to pair with any devices

Problem:

After attempting to pair with lamps and plugs (which have previously paired) I can no long pair with them.
I have re-installed Home Assistant 4 times now.

Frontend version: 20211007.1 - latest
Virtual Environment false
Python Version 3.9.7
Operating System Family Linux
Operating System Version 5.10.17-v8
CPU Architecture aarch64

Conbee II connected to RPI 4b. usb 3 slot, 1m extension cable.

Integrations present

Google cast
HASS bridge:21064
Zigbee ZHA

Try to add devices to ZHA ‘configuration’, results in no additions, whether in pairing mode or not.

Tried with Philips Hue lamps and plugs, Osram lamps.

This forum is only providing support for deconz and phoscon. Not for ZHA.

IDK using HA but with phoscon device/light/add new lights, it s just the pairing procedure.

Not sure why that happens. Bot seems to go ape on it. Just post as you just did :slight_smile:

Either way, i don’t see anything that shows its searching for devices(the Permit Join @smanar is talking about).

In Phoscon, did you click add devices?

Also, did you add all the log levels i mentioned? It seems there’s some missing.

IIRC this was as I installed deCONZ, so no, no “Permit join” set.

I have ZHA working (partially) so please close this issue,

Shame there is no standardisation above zigbee 3, into software layers.
E.g. 4 different makers, 4 different ‘reset’ methods! Ripe for standardisation?
