Unable to pair TRADFRI LED 345lm, GU10, LED2106R3

Greetings

I bought a new IKEA light bulb, as described in the title.

Unfortunately, I am not able to pair the bulb with deCONZ. I tried resetting the bulb multiple times, but it still does not appear in the Phoscon App.

I also could not find the bulb over here: deconz-rest-plugin/devices/ikea at master · dresden-elektronik/deconz-rest-plugin · GitHub, nor in Deconz Toolbox.

I use deCONZ directly installed on a Raspberry PI version 2.31.2.

Do you have any clue, or is the bulb currently missing in deCONZ?

Many thanks!

Hello KosrenDQ, thank you for your message. It looks like the device is not yet supported. Could you please open a device request here: GitHub · Where software is built? We can help you better there, and please ensure that you can access deCONZ via VNC.

But bulbs are supported natively ?
For me its more a bad pairing procedure or a problem on the zigbee network.

Hi Smanar, you’re absolutely right, the bulbs should be recognized, but they aren’t currently supported by a DDF. That’s why you should check in deCONZ to see if they’re even being recognized.

The pairing process for IKEA bulbs involves switching them on and off five times until they start flashing. They are then reset to factory settings and can be paired.

The bulb is unfortunately also missing in the deCONZ GUI.
I tried the reset pattern for the IKEA bulbs several times.
But the bulb does not appear in the mesh view.

Can I help with logs? Which Debug Levels are needed to get a better picture of the behaviour?

Thank you very much for your fast help!

The pairing process has changed with the new bulbs; they need to be switched on and off six times to reset. If they don’t shine brighter, it hasn’t worked.

ok, after doing the reset sequence multiple times, the bulb is now in the mesh view of deCONZ.
I will create a device request, as described there
