HI,
A few years ago I bought a Moes AM43 Roller blind.
I was not able to connect the device, found on the internet that this device was difficult to connect. Tried many advised things, but none worked.
However, last year when I was connecting an other device, suddenly the Moes AM43 connected correctly and was usable and worked as it should work.
There I have more roller blinds, I bought a second Moes AM43.
However, I am not able to get the second one working. Has some an idea how to fix this.
Thanks in advance.
Hello, if you can check the model ID on deconz ? Only older version can work (with problem to include them)
New devices can’t be included, because the support by DDF is not possible for tuya covering.
But the tips is to include the device first on deconz, and then after try to include it on phoscon (the API need to know the modelID and the Manufacture name to reconise the device when it use the old reconisation engine, without DDF)
I have tried connecting the device by deConz, did not work.
Model Id = TS0601
Manufacturer name =_TZE200_icka1clh
For the moment no success.
This model is not in legacy core, so forced to use DDF.
And If I m right it use the tuya cluster only ? no convering cluster ?
So not possible to include it.
The Moes AM43 can be a bit tricky because there are different hardware versions, and not all of them play nicely with Deconz or Phoscon. The original version had limited support and could be added manually, but newer models like _TZE200_icka1clh rely only on the Tuya cluster and don’t expose the standard covering cluster, which means they can’t be included through normal Deconz integration.
If you want to keep using it, your best bet is to try connecting it through a Tuya Zigbee hub or a Matter-compatible bridge, since Deconz won’t recognize it properly without DDF support. Alternatively, you might consider switching to a more universal motor or smart blind system that supports Zigbee 3.0 or Matter directly — something that’s already compatible out of the box. Accent Window Blinds & Shades offers several motorized blind options that integrate smoothly with modern smart home systems and save you from this kind of setup hassle.
