I see errors like this happen a lot:
10:57:40:187 reuse dead link (dead link container size now 462),
That number at the end changes but otherwise the same.
What does this tell me about a problem? Or is this fine?

Just sharing in case it’s related.
It’s only a info message from the GUI part not an error 
A link here is the visual line between two nodes. Since in a mesh the links can always change a bit, some may come and go.
However, I think the message should be removed or put to a debug log level.
