Hi @ChrisHae , here the RODRET just triggers standard short press events (1002, 2002) and network joins are very buggy first time. Based on IKEA specs it should trigger long press events as well, but they are still missing. (maybe its not even a deCONZ issue, but IKEA?!)

SOMRIG is different (for whatever reason) and triggers short press, long press, double press (1000-1004, 2000-2004). So, actually I would recommend everyone to buy SOMRIG over RODRET, if he can deal with the dot vs. on/off icon prints.

BTW: Didn’t know about the Deconz Toolbox. Looks like information about a lot of things is spread everywhere. Wouldn’t it help everyone to centralize everything and have it well documented?

Feel free to add it to the wiki :slight_smile: where most of it is already.

The toolbox is fairly new though and a community project which is still in development.

IKEA published an Update (v57) for RODRET.

After installing and re-adding the device I now have short press & long press events (1001-1003, 2001-2003). :slightly_smiling_face:

As said before, RODRET has less events than SOMRIG, which already is documented in the device manuals. So, if double press is mandatory for you, you need to add custom logic or simply swap with a SOMRIG.
