Service deconz-gui is started automatically on boot. It loads the deCONZ desktop app. Can I somehow prevent this desktop app from being closed (i.e. via VNC)?
Plan B would be to switch over to run deconz service without GUI, but I really love to see all those fancy things and connectors which remind me, that this crazy shit works.

IDK, it’s personnal but I hate application I can’t close when I want.
What is your third app, for me it’s the sofware that make the watchdog and make an error message if deconz is not available.
Node-RED monitors the availability of the deCONZ service and sends a notification if it is not available.
The GUI app should still be able to be closed and started via systemctl, I’m just looking for a way to prevent the GUI app from being closed via GUI controls.
A nice feature would be to have a are-you-sure-you-want-to-close-the-app dialog. But there is none.
