I have my Phoscon Hive connected via Zigbee to my Home Assistant install. It works reasonably well for a while, but I have an automation that transitions between colors as a mood light. This works for a while but then the Hive stops responding to commands. It seems to work again after going through the whole pair process again, but does it again. Is there some some error with the hardware? Maybe it’s getting overloaded? Any tips on how to do this?
Hello, perhaps with checking logs ?
But I can understand a device freeze, but less it need a re-inclusion to work. it was totaly unresponsive before the re pairing ? even after a restart ?
It would turn on and turn off and operate manually, but was totally unresponsive to zigbee commands. I’m not sure how to officially reboot it. I turned it fully off and back on and that didn’t get it to respond to Zigbee commands.
How do I check the logs. Happy to follow any existing posts, but a search turned up nothing much on the forum about this device.
And if you disable it ?
Because on logs you can see if the device is spammed, so it can be unresponsive, but you don’t need to re-include it to make it back.
You can see logs using the GUI, help/debug view, you can see something usefull with flag info+info_l2+error+error_l2.
More powerfull flags are APS+APS_l2 but not sure you will be able to understand message.
Just to close this out. It seems this was related to low voltage on the battery. If I keep the battery near full or plugged in this seems to not happen.
