Hello,
I have 3 Hue smart plugs, controlled by Conbee II, Version 2.28.1, Firmware 26720700.
When I replaced my Hue Bridge with Conbee II, I managed to connect the plugs to the Zigbee network. They would switch as requested for a few hours up to 1-2 days and then lose connection and not reconnect any more.
I would have to reset the plugs every 1-2 days in order to reestablish the connection to the Zigbee network.
Does anybody have similar experiences? How did you solve this problem?
Does anybody have any hints on how to keep the plugs connected?
Thank you in advance, Florian
edit:
One of these three “smart plugs” is version LOM001 - which has kept its connection for the last few weeks. The other two are version LOM007, they loose connection a few hours after resetting them and pairing them with ConBee II.
Does anybody have similar experiences? Can you confirm these differences? How do you keep LOM007 connected?
@Deconz: are there any Deconz related experts around? Do you have any hints for us how to solve this issue?
Is this an issue on the side of Philips Hue / Signify or an issue on the side of Deconz / Phoscon / ConBee II?
I would not hesitate to sell those plugs, if you tell me that Phoscon will not be able to fix it.
You can upgrade via Bluetooth by temporarily installing the Philips Hue app on your phone and upgrading directly without using Deconz or other tools. However, this method didn’t fixed the problem for me.
That might have been the key. I upgraded both plugs (LOM007) via bluetooth yesterday morning and they hold connection since.
Will keep you noticed, if something changes…
Thank you @Pluisje69 ! Made my day…
Well, not quite.
I updated LOM001 today. Since then, it is no longer controllable by ConBeeII.
It shows in the app and even has its old name, that I gave to it, when initially pairing. It shows the correct state (if it’s on or off) but it is displayed in light grey without ability to control it.
So now I have two LOM007, which work flawlessly after updating the firmware and one LOM001 which is no longer controllable after updating the firmware.
Isn’t that strange? Do you have any more hints for me?
Thank you in advance and kind regards
edit:
It cost me half an hour, but I finally managed to get LOM001 up and connected. Somehow I could not connect any more through bluetooth and the HUE App, so I resetted the plug, deleted it in bluetooth and searched for it again. I connected through the HUE App and afterwards looked for it in Phoscon, which worked. It is now connected and up for the past 5 hours.
