Pairing SONOFF SNZB-02B with ConBee III

I am entirely new to Zigbee and have just bought the Conbee III as my coordinator (I plan on eventually using it on an OrangePi, for now am testing on Windows 10). I want to connect it eventually to self-made devices using ESP-C6’s, but for now for testing I bought SONOFF SNZB-02B ( Amazon.de ).

I managed to get the Conbee set up, flashed the latest firmware on it and have the deCONZ software running. I unwrapped two of the sensors, put in batteries and got them to be connected:

I’ve seen other screenshots of this software where the devices had human-readable names instead of hex addresses. AI suggested to me that this is because my sensors are not “fully connected yet”. To remedy this, I restarted the software a couple of times, manually read the Basic Cluster and also unplugged and replugged the dongle itself. All to no avail. When I read the basic cluster, I do see manufacturer information:

AI also suggested renaming the sensors in Phoscon, but they do not show up at all in the Phoscon web UI.

What am I doing wrong? I tried reading the humidity/temperature clusters and they return sensible data, so that part at least seems to work just fine.

  • deCONZ: v2.33.2
  • flashed the firmware today via Google Chrome, not sure which version i got
  • Windows 10

Hi

These are simple not supported het. I recommend creating a device request on the GitHub.

Are they supported on the Conbee II? And in which of the repositories would I open such a ticket?

Make sure to fill all the details and screenshots for the device request

Is it okay to resurrect the previous issue @ Sonoff TH Lite Temperature Humidity Sensor SNZB-02B · Issue #8630 · dresden-elektronik/deconz-rest-plugin · GitHub ? I tried the DDF but had no success using it.

I reopened and asked a dev to help

We got this solved/worked around on GitHub, in case anyone is interested.

Great, thanks for the update
