IKEA Vallhorn motion sensor

You are using docker, all is virtual.
If you are using the official docker, you have a permanent folder in /opt/deCONZ/devices/

But this device is officially in deconz now no ?

Yes if you run the latest version , but I am running version 2.05.72 and it my install I am unable to find a “devices” folder…

The folder can be invisible or not created.
You will not have access to native DDF (not persistent folder) but you can add a new one on the persistent one.
If you have the GUI, try to save a fake DDF, you will search it after.

Sorry, I did not quite understand your suggestion. I have access to the GUI but could you let me know the procedure for saving a fake DDF?

Choose a random device, then select “edit DDF”, put a fake manufacture name or model ID, and save it.
As you can’t save it on the docker, the OS will choose a persistant folder.

And don’t take care of path you are seing on the GUI, it’s “virtual” too.

I do not have access to the VNC-gui, only the web gui and Phoscon app. So I am unable to perform the necessary actions.

So try with the folder /opt/deCONZ/devices/ create it if needed.
