One of my hue dimmer switches was getting and old and started to use to many batteries.
Bought a new version and connected the Hue dimmer switch, No problem.
However, than I had to configure the Hue dimmer switch, strange when I bought them many years ago it all worked out of the box.
I started configuring the switch, On no problem, Off no problem.
Dimming up and dimming down, that did not work.
There is only a option for two commands at the same time.
Dimming up and on, Dimming down and off. That does not work.
When you use the only possible configuration which is available, the lights are getting out of sync.
My wife tried to operate the Hue dimmer switch and all light where off or on.
I know in the past, many years ago, they tried this as well, however this was returned after a big discussion. But Phoscon has incorporated this again.
Does some one knows how to just have a dimmer function for these buttons.
Just: ON, Dim Up, Dim Down and Off. That is what every child understands.
No Double function on a remote which does not works and is NOT understood.
It is possible there the old remote worked perfectly until last week, when I replaced it.
