How to prevent certain Zigbee lights from being used as routers in a stable deCONZ network?

Hello,

I’m using a ConBee III with a fairly stable Zigbee network. However, I have a set of spotlights (e.g., Lounge 1-6 and WZ 11-24) that I regularly switch off completely to reduce standby power consumption. I understand that this can negatively affect the Zigbee mesh since these lights are also used as routers when powered.

My questions are:

  1. Is there a way to prevent these specific lights from being included in the source routing when they are powered on?
  2. Alternatively, can the routing status of the network be saved and restored after these lights are powered off and back on?
  3. What would be the best practices to maintain a stable network while still being able to power these lights off completely when not in use?

Thank you for your advice!

Best regards,
mmiii

I believe that it is not possible unless you find a way to modify the device’s firmware.
