Fresh installed Domoticz crashes when adding deconz plugin

Describe the bug

Domoticz crashes when adding deconz plugin in its hardware

Steps to reproduce the problem

The OS (on which Domoticz is installed) is the last Raspberry OS running on a Raspberry 3B+.
The Domoticz is the last stable version.
The deconz gateway is running on a Raspberry Pi modèle B Rev. 2. Conbee II is plugged on USB port.
Phoscon is working well, I have 2 Aqara Temperature sensors paired.
I import manually my Database in Domoticz and restart it, everything is OK.
When I configure the Deconz plugin everything is OK.
When I enable the Deconz plugin in Domoticz Hardware, Domoticz crashes and is not reachable.

@Smanar

I made the same manipulations with an other fresh installation on a NanoPiM4 board.

domoticz@nanopim4:~/domoticz/plugins/Domoticz-deCONZ$ lsb_release -a
No LSB modules are available.
Distributor ID: Ubuntu
Description: Ubuntu 21.04
Release: 21.04
Codename: hirsute
domoticz@nanopim4:~/domoticz/plugins/Domoticz-deCONZ$ arch
aarch64

The result is the same, at the end, when the plugin is enabled, Domoticz crashes and is not reachable anymore.

Hello, wich one python version are you using ?
It s your first python plugin ?
So you are using Domoticz V 2021.1 ?

This issue is generaly solved wich changing python or domoticz version (problem with pythn framework)

Hello,
I made again a new fresh install with armbian focal:
domoticz@nanopim4:~$ lsb_release -a
Distributor ID: Ubuntu
Description: Ubuntu 20.04.3 LTS
Release: 20.04
Codename: focal

I am using Domoticz V 2021.1

Updating my python libraries to V3.8.
And miracle

Now the question is: I have 3 separate indicators in Domoticz for an Aqara sensor and I woukd like to have THB on the same sensor. Is there a way to do that? Probably with Python/lua/dzvents scripts? Or an other easy way?

So all is fine with my nanopiM4 (the goal was to test the conbee II and the aqara sensors), however the final goal is to install all on my Raspberry Pi 3b+ and my problem is not solved for the moment.

Yep it s possible using LUA, it s a long story, but I will not make mixed sensor from the python code itself https://github.com/Smanar/Domoticz-deCONZ/wiki/Example-to-make-a-LUA-script-to-mix-temperature-humidity-barometer-on-the-same-sensor

I m using too a raspberry 3, I have on my side

  • Domoticz version: 2021.1
  • Request version 2.21.0 (and yes this lib is one the libs that cause this issue)
  • python V 3.7.3

Perhaps because of bullseyes Domoticz crashes on pluginmanager after raspian bullseye update - Domoticz

sudo apt install libpython3.9-dev

Thx for your answers,

pi@domoticz:~ $ pi@domoticz:~ $ sudo apt install libpython3.9-dev

libpython3.9-dev is already the newest version (3.9.2-1+rpi1).
libpython3.9-dev set to manually installed.

it seems also that Python 3.9 and Domoticz are not compatibles:

: Domoticz crashes on pluginmanager after raspian bullseye update

Post by PierreOV » Thursday 25 November 2021 22:39

Hello,
I confirm the incompatibility Python 3.9 and Domoticz.
Back to Python 3.8 and working again

Yeah, have see it after, the “magic” they are using to make the connexion with c++ code / python code need to be updated.

It’s a realy frequent issue on domoticz. Need to take care before all updates, and sometime the rollback is not possible.
