No idea yet where to ask the question, as it is a device i put it in this topic.
I have 6 of these devices, they all support color loop effect.
In the color control attribute 0x400a color capabilities 0x001f it has all boxes ticked, also color loop.
When i activate the color loop in deCONZ, it returns 0x4002 color loop active 1.
Light is on and goes to light purple color and that is it.
The behavior is the same is i do this in deCONZ gui and also in node-red.
Am i doing something wrong, or do i misunderstand the color loop effect, or do i have to setup anything else in the node attributes ? I just have no idea why it will not loop thru the colors.
i tried the same without deleting and repairing, but this never starts the colorloop
So there is a little trick to get it working, now i hope it stays working.
I have done 3 lights so far, need to do 7 more this way.
Just so someone else could have the same issue and wanted to let you know that it seems to be working after some additioal steps.
Oh, when i disconnect the power, and reconnect the power, i first have to set some colors in the colorpicker, otherwise colorloop will not start, just turns the lights to light purple and stay that way.
Ha ? so the trick is you need to set first color on the “color picker” before trying to run the color loop ?
It’s not the normal mode ? (Never tried on my side)
Yes that does the trick, but first i had to delete the node and re-pair it, otherwise this did not work.
Also when the power is cut off. The whole process needs to be done again before it to work, why that is, i have no clue.
