When you first open the android phoscon app you select the autodiscovered gateway and you are prompted for the gateway password. When you click on the password field you realize that the password manager you have setup on your phone (bitwarden, etc) doesn’t kick in, so you have to manually open your password manger separately and lookup the password.
I’m not an android developer but I would speculate that the phoscon login form/view is missing autofill hints ( Optimize your app for autofill | Identity | Android Developers )
