CLIP sensors in Phoscon app

Hello,
I’m new here and have a few questions.
I’ve been using the Philips hue bridge for years, having created rules manually with the rule engine, because one of the drawbacks of Philips hue is the absence of CLIP sensors in the Philips Android application.

Is it really impossible to view CLIP sensors in Phoscon ? Isn’t there a workaround ? In Philips hue, I found the CLIP sensors indispensable.

Hi currently the only way to see CLIP sensors in the Phoscon App is in the Menu > Help > API Information page.

But I think you mean showing them as UI sensor in the overview pages?
Currently only the Automation page does create CLIP sensors in a combination with resource links and rules which are shown on that page.

However it would be nice that CLIP sensors can also be configured to be shown just like their normal physical counter parts. Something like a show_in_ui attribute which could be set to true.

Indeed, the visibility of CLIP sensors could be activated/deactivated.

I think Phoscon is making a mistake by trying to simplify the rules as much as possible, like Philips HUE. I think even someone totally new to programming would understand the value of being able to create rules based on variables. For example, variables called memory.

Showing CLIP Sensors would be a nice feature for the new version of the Phoscon App. I’ll think I will add that.
