Cannot connect Philips Hue Smart Plug to ConBee II

Hello everyone,

I have been running a ConBee II on my Raspberry Pi 4 for years (via Docker container, current version 2.32.2) and already use various Philips Hue Smart Plugs. Now I have bought a new socket, but I am unable to connect it. Of course, I have already asked ChatGPT

This is how I proceed:

  1. Open the Phoscon app in the browser and log in.
  2. “Zwischenstecker → Neuen Zwischenstecker verbinden” (rough translation: “Adapter plug → Connect new adapter plug”)
  3. Press and hold the power button on the plug for approx. 8 seconds, then it flashes yellow, and I release it.

Now I wait for the plug to appear, but it never does. I have also tried via “Lights → Connect new lights,” but the same problem occurs.

The distance between the plug and ConBee is approx. 5 cm – both are connected to an extension cord (ConBee to a USB extension cord, plug to a power extension cord).

Here is some additional information:

  • Gateway version: 2.32.2
  • Firmware: 26720700
  • Zigbee channel: 15
  • Network ID: 378F

As a test, I installed the Philips Hue Android app on my smartphone. There, I can easily add the plug and also switch it on and off, so it doesn’t seem to be defective.

Thanks in advance for your help!

This problem has now been resolved. A firmware update to 26780700 was the solution.
