Aqara Door and Window Sensor T1 (DW-S03D) - Hardware or software issue?

Just got another door/window sensor, but this one doesn’t seem to work properly with my Conbee II.
I have some of the earlier model (MCCGQ12LM I believe), which all work perfectly.
I can’t really seem to figure out what exactly is going wrong. It claims to have “gold” support, but it just doesn’t seem to want to work.

Any help would be appreciated!

Hi,

what deconz version do you run and what firmware version does the stick have? Also, have you restarted deconz after pairing the sensor? There’s currently a bug making that more or less necessary.

Deconz 2.28.1, firmware 26660700 running as Home Assistant addon.
I have restarted deconz after pairing, that unfortunately didn’t help.

Thanks. The stick’s firmware is 4 Years old and you must update it to have the device working.

As for the device, please do the following after update:

  • Reset the sensor (as precaution, 10 sec. button press)
  • Delete the device in deconz GUI (right click → delete node)
  • Pair the sensor as you usually would

Ah. The update button in Phoscon disappeared for me a while ago, so I just wrongly assumed it would auto update. Followed the guide on updating inside Home Assistant from How to update conbee II on hassio with deconz/phoscon integration? - #12 by thomas-svrts - Zigbee - Home Assistant Community
And it works perfectly now. Thanks!
