I used the deCONZ Binding Panel to create a binding between a Hue Wall Switch (On/Off) and a Hue Lamp (On/Off).
Is there a way to enforce a maximum brightness when switching On?
The issue I am having is the following:
When my wife dims the light down lets say to 20 out of 255. then the Wall Switch will toggle the light On and Off just as before, but the brightness remains 20.
I want the wall switch to toggle between On(255) and Off.
Is there something that I missed?
Kind regards,
Florian

Iâm not sure, if this solves your problem:
You can bind scenes to the lamp. When you create a âbrightâ scene, you could use those to always turn on the light with full brightness when always switching to theis scnene instead of on/off.
Thank you for the reply. But then I would need two scenes, one for off and one for on. And then somehow toggle between them. Hmm.
For off, you could just use the âturn offâ selection in the button settings.
I got an IKEA Tradfri swtich for a bath lamp. With ON i cycle through 2 scenes. Bright and dimm. With OFF i just turn the lamp off.
Thanks again for your reply. Unfortunately I only have a single push button.
Probably what i intent to do: toggling between full on and off, is not straight forward to implement.
Itâs probably the âOn Levelâ that is what I would want to set. But my Hue Bulb doesnât seem to support it.
